They know that if wages and benefits improve for unionized workers at those retail stores, then they will likely have to raise wages for all of their retail workers. At the same time as management refuses to improve wages or benefits for retail workers, they also refuse to offer fair wage or benefits for technicians who maimtain the wireless network. VERIZON WIRELESS is the most profitable part of company that make over $1.5 billion a month in profits, the company can afford fair wages and benefits for wireless workers.
