Political conventions are usually where parties unite, but there’s nothing “usual” about the big Republican get-together in Cleveland.
In Donald Trump, they’ve got an unprecedented candidate — a man who’s never held office and shoots from the hip. He’s brought a lot of people into the party, people who will fight for him. But he’s also turned off party regulars — and some are hoping to take away the presumption from this presumptive nominee.
