WIND POWER: New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is expected to announce the first contract in the state’s Green New Deal. The state’s first large-scale contract will be for offshore wind energy. Cuomo hopes the state will receive 9,000 megawatts of energy from offshore wind farms by 2040.
