Gunman is dead after shooting at NYC cathedral

– Manhattan NY : Police shot a gunman dead at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City following a Christmas concert this afternoon. NYPD officers who were present at the concert opened fire, striking the gunman in the head. Two semi-automatic firearms were retrieved from the scene along with a bag believed to belong to the suspect.
Bag contained a full can of gasoline, wire, rope, multiple knives and a bible, according to Police Commissioner Shea. The gunman was screaming “kill me,” according to multiple witnesses on the scene.. The gunman was pronounced dead at St. Luke’s Hospital.
