New York. Bomb Threat At Columbia University Not Credible, Part Of Swatting Incident

The NYPD has determined that the threats @Columbia today were a swatting incident. Police conducted a search of the locations and deemed the area safe. The investigation into the origins of those messages remains ongoing.

 Several buildings on the Columbia University campus were evacuated Sunday following a bomb threat.
The NYPD later deemed the threat a swatting incident, and the school cleared three impacted buildings — Lerner Hall, Butler Hall and Carman Hall — for occupancy.
