That day inn History – Nazi Germany declared war against the United States
On 11 December 1941, four days after the Japaneseattack on Pearl Harbor and the United States declaration of war against the Japanese Empire, Nazi Germany declared war against the United States, in response to what was claimed to be a series of provocations by the United States government when the U.S. was still officially neutral during World War II. The decision to declare war was made by Adolf Hitler, apparently offhand, almost without consultation. It has been referred to as Hitler’s “most puzzling” decision of World War II.[1] Publicly, the formal declaration was made to American Chargé d’AffairesLeland B. Morris by German Foreign Minister Joachim von Ribbentrop in the latter’s office. Later that day, the U.S. declared war on Germany.

McConnell declines to say Trump lost…
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Senate GOP leadership hold a news briefing. McConnell declines to say Trump lost. “This has become a weekly ritual,” he replies. “The Electoral College is gonna meet on the 14th and cast a vote. We’re gonna have a swearing in of the next president on. Why don’t we concentrate on what we have to do the next 2 weeks?” McConnell isn’t ready to discuss President-elect Biden’s nominees. “All the discussion about who may come next in the cabinet is something I’m not prepared to address yet. We’ve got two weeks of important business left to do and that’s where I’m going to concentrate my time.” McConnell signals a possible endgame if a deal isn’t struck soon: Cut liability shield and state/local aid for now, pass consensus policies. “Leaving here without a covid relief package cannot happen. We have to get that done,” he says. “I think both sides fully understand that.”

Arrested Staten Island bar owner speaks out: ‘Something had to happen.’
The owners of Mac’s Public House in Staten Island, New York, have continued to serve customers indoors, despite the city’s COVID regulations ordering them to close. They even established an ‘autonomous zone’ — like the one formed in Seattle, WA earlier this year — in an attempt to silence politicians. But now one of the owners, Danny Presti, is in legal trouble. He and his lawyer, Louis Gelormino, joined Glenn this morning to explain WHY he ran from sheriff’s deputies on Saturday night, which eventually led to his arrest.

Texas SHOWS UP BIG – State & Ted Cruz Move To Challenge Election Results At The Supreme Court…
The state of Texas is suing four swing states that certified wins for Joe Biden in a bid to have the Supreme Court keep President Trump in office — as Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has volunteered to present arguments in a similar Pennsylvania-specific case before the high court. With six days remaining before the Electoral College meets Dec. 14 to formally elect the next president, Trump allies are putting up their final legal struggle. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Republican, is seeking to toss the Nov. 3 popular vote results in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Paxton’s office said the states “exploited the pandemic to justify ignoring federal and state election laws and unlawfully enacting last-minute changes, thus skewing the results.”
