ABBA Voulez-Vous 40th Anniversary reissue – Out Now

Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, ABBA’s Voulez-Vous has received a multi-format reissue to celebrate the album’s original 23 April 1979 release, Polar Music (via Universal Music Group) have released the following anniversary reissues: – A 2LP half-speed master on 180g vinyl, mastered at Abbey Road and cut at 45rpm. – A coloured-vinyl 7” singles box set, collecting the singles from the Voulez-Vous era. ‘Summer Night City, ‘Voulez-Vous’, ‘I Have A Dream’, ‘Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)’, ‘Does Your Mother Know’, ‘Chiquitita’ and the extended dance mix of ‘Voulez-Vous’. – Each single released as a limited-edition standalone picture disc.

After earning raving reviews for her sold-out 2014 tour, world-famous singer TAMARA GVERDTSITELI, called by the New York Times “the Russian Édith Piaf”, appears at Cutler Majestic Theatre with a new program “MAMELE, THE MOTHER’S EYES”. Backed by the soloists of Moscow Male Jewish Cappella and chamber music ensemble and conducted by Maestro Alexander Tsaliuk, Ms. Gverdtsiteli’s velvet tone is sure to thrill old and new fans alike. The concert program will include a collection of well-known and recently re-discovered Yiddish standards, international favorites in Georgian, Russian, French and Italian, as well as the artist’s own best-known hits.
