Video shows woman at bottom of hole after falling through Manhattan sidewalk

A woman was hurt when she apparently fell through a sidewalk hole in Midtown Manhattan. The incident was reported at West 35th Street and 8th Avenue around 2:30 p.m. Friday afternoon. Crews had been working underground nearby and a witness said a pedestrian fell about 5 feet down when a yellow plate over the hole gave way.

‘Get outta my Dunkin’: Worker, good Samaritans subdue robber at Long Island Dunkin Donuts

An employee and two good Samaritans turned the tables on a would-be robber at a Long Island Dunkin Donuts when the armed man entered a location in Medford Monday evening and demanded money. After the suspect, 61-year-old Frank Annunziata, Jr., allegedly slashed a worker at the Horseblock Road business, they fought back, motivated by the chant “Get outta my Dunkin.” “I said, ‘No, you gotta get outta my Dunkin,'” employee Austin Minott said.

RAW: Man robbed at gunpoint in Brooklyn barbershop chair

DOT worker runs over, kills colleague in street accident

A New York City Department of Transportation worker was killed when a colleague accidentally ran him over while repaving an Upper East Side street. Authorities say 44-year-old Eduardo Calleabril was standing on East 88th Street while working on a street repaving project just after 1 a.m. Tuesday when his 35-year-old coworker backed up a DOT truck without realizing the victim was behind him.

Macy’s says it will stop selling fur
