LinkNYC . Qualcomm discusses LinkNYC, smart cities.

Kiva Allgood, Qualcomm’s vice president of smart cities and industrial IoT, discusses the LinkNYC project to replace some 7,500 phone booths around the five boroughs with free, public Wi-Fi kiosks that provide other services like phone charging stations and an interface with municipal websites. Allgood also talks about how LinkNYC fits into Qualcomm’s larger smart cities strategy.
