It happened at Hempstead Lake State Park, which is not too far from Hempstead High School.Police said the teens were walking in the park just after 3 p.m. Monday when they were attacked along one of the wooded pathways. Investigators said the attackers stabbed the teens with a knife and a machete. The injured teens were taken to area hospitals.
