Early Saturday morning President Donald Trump took to twitter stirring up the latest White House controversy, accusing former President Barak Obama of wiretapping his phones at Trump Tower ahead of the 2016 election. President Trump made the allegations with no offering of evidence. Sunday morning on ABC’s “This Week.” former Attorney General Michael Mukasey said that Trump was “right” when he said there was surveillance on Trump Tower for intelligence purposes, but Mukasey was quick to point out the stark difference between being correct and right. During the interview Mukasey said “I think he’s right in that there was surveillance and that it was conducted at the behest of the attorney general — at the Justice Department,” Mukasey told ABC’s “This Week.”
