A plane partially skidded off the runway at Newark Airport, causing major delays, the FAA confirmed. United Airlines Flight 627, with 166 people on board, landed on Runway 22 around 1 p.m. Saturday and skidded to the left side of the pavement. The left main landing gear is stuck in a grassy area. The airline said the plane experienced multiple flat tires upon landing. Passengers told Eyewitness News that the landing was rough and shakey and said they are lucky to be alive. ABC7 New York video
