Protesters Arrested for Climbing Globe in Columbus Circle during Extinction Rebellion Protest

September 7,2020 – Manhattan, New York: Three people arrested after Extinction Rebellion climbed the Columbus Circle globe, which is on Trump’s property, and dropped a banner demanding Climate Justice. Earlier they performed grieving ceremony by spilling blood in Central Park, cleaning it up and then circling around Columbus Circle statue to protest Columbus and what he stands for. They then proceeded with the banner drop to protest President Trump.
