Licensing Services and New Councilman

For more than two months one hair stylist from the barber shop in Southern Brooklyn has been trying to renew her barber license.
She tried to use the website of NYS Department of State, Division of Licensing Services, contacted their hotline by phone and even sent them a letter by mail. Nothing worked. Meanwhile, her license supposed to expire next week, right in middle of the usually busy holiday season.
When she contacted me, she sounded desperate. I am very glad to report that thanks to the great assistance of Robert Cataldo from the Office of Senator Diane Savino, NYS DOS representatives contacted this barber salon and resolved the issue.
The license was finally renewed and this hard working lady as well as her regular clients are happy.
