In collaboration with the Ukrainian Embassy, starting on April 28th, the United States Capitol will host a photo exhibit on the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
- This display will be located in H-122, the Speaker’s Dining Room.
- All Members, Congressional staff and guests are invited to visit the display starting at 4:15 p.m. on April 28th.
- The exhibit will run for six weeks, with viewing hours 9:00 a.m. — 6:00 p.m. for days the House is in session.
It is with deep gratitude to Ambassador Oksana Markarova and the Embassy of Ukraine for their partnership in acquiring the images for this important exhibition as part of their tireless service to their nation.
These photographs capture the terrible human cost of the Russian invasion: painful and powerful, haunting and heartbreaking. Over the next six weeks, I encourage you to make time to visit this moving exhibit of horror and heroism. Displaying these images is another manifestation of our commitment to supporting the extraordinary people of Ukraine as they bravely defend democracy — for their nation and for the world.
