‘Clueless’ Joe Biden ‘panics’ after Elon Musk question
US President Joe Biden appeared “clueless” and “panicked” after he was asked by a reporter if Twitter CEO Elon Musk posed a threat to national security. President Biden said Mr Musk’s relationships with other countries is worth looking into as he stressed he was not suggesting the Tesla CEO was doing “anything inappropriate”. “Elon Musk’s cooperation and/or technical relationships with other countries is worthy of being looked at,” President Biden said. “Whether or not he is doing anything inappropriate- I’m not suggesting that. I’m suggesting it’s worth being looked at and that’s all I’ll say.” A reporter then asked the president “how” the founder of SpaceX was a threat to national security. President Biden responded: “There’s a lot of ways.” Journalist Benny Johnson tweeted the president seemed to “panic and mumble” his way through the answer. Another Twitter user called out the reporter’s “awful” question, arguing “press corps and politicians fear free speech”.
