NSW One Nation Leader Mark Latham says given the “decrepit nature” of President Joe Biden this should have been a massive “red landslide”, but it was hinged on former president Donald Trump. “The best thing now would be for Trump to say he’s had enough – hand on the baton to DeSantis and let a younger man talking about the future get on with the demolition of the Democrats,” he told Sky News host Paul Murray. Ron DeSantis is the “future of the Republican Party” and that is what the midterm results show, Mr Latham said.
