New York . Residents on the Upper West Side of Manhattan were met with a shocking sight on last Tuesday morning as they found more than 60 of their cars vandalized with bright red spray paint. The cars were parked along Riverside Drive between 99th and 110th streets and had a large red stripe spray-painted along the passenger side.
According to the NYPD, calls about the vandalism started pouring in early Tuesday morning. The police department is now investigating the incident and gathering information from witnesses and surveillance footage in an effort to identify the person or group responsible for the damage.
The vandalism has caused a significant amount of frustration and inconvenience for those affected. Not only is their property damaged, but they now have to take time out of their busy schedules to have the cars repaired.
The police have urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward and assist in the investigation.
