Tragic news came out of Nashville, Tennessee on Monday morning as a shooter armed with two assault-style rifles and a handgun entered a Christian school and killed three students and three staff members.
The suspect, Audrey Hale, aged 28 and from Nashville, allegedly shot through the door to gain entry to the school and had a detailed map of the premises.
Among the victims were three nine-year-old children, identified by police as Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney, and three adults: Cynthia Peak, 61, who was a substitute teacher, Mike Hill, 61, a custodian, and Katherine Koonce, 60, the head of the school. Our thoughts go out to the families and loved ones of those affected by this tragedy.
