I was in Supreme Court yesterday for the city’s @nycmayor motion to amend the Right To Shelter decree. Although I was initially told that electeds would be welcomed in the room, I was not allowed to sit in chambers. It is concerning that these events are happening behind closed doors. This is an issue that impacts all New Yorkers. The public should have the right to listen to negotiations about migrants and potential shelter locations. So much for transparency when it comes to such an important topic
