New York. Gov. Hochul to announce new measures in fighting subway crime

The governor of New York is trying to take away the rights to use public city transportation from those who have been convicted of armed attacks on the subway or city buses for 3 years.
She believes – will these criminals take taxis and Uber instead?

The MTA will ramp up bag checks and possibly add metal detectors in subways.- like in Moscow ?

It would be possible to ask the “socialist” governor another important question. How does she envision restricting criminals from accessing buses and subways? Will it be a total surveillance system, wearing bracelets, or a universal facial recognition system like in China or Russia? Perhaps the simplest and most traditional solution would be for criminals to receive prison sentences rather than being released without bail by “progressive” “Soros-backed” prosecutors
