A dispute on a Brooklyn subway train escalated into violence when a 36-year-old man confronted a 32-year-old man, leading to the 36-year-old pulling out a gun.
The 32-year-old managed to gain control of the gun and struck the other man, resulting in shots being fired. Chaos ensued as passengers scrambled for safety.
The incident occurred at the Nostrand Avenue station, and the train eventually stopped at the Hoyt-Schermerhorn station where police responded to the scene.
The 36-year-old was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Charges are pending against the 32-year-old, and an investigation is ongoing.
