Tvistomi TV Launches Studio in Brooklyn
Tvistomi TV, a private Georgian television network owned by American citizens of Georgian descent, has opened a new studio in Brooklyn, New York. It’s located on Brighton Beach Avenue, at the heart of a community densely populated by immigrants from the CIS countries. Independent sources estimate that the Georgian diaspora in New York numbers around 200,000 people.
Part of the Tvistomi Media conglomerate, Tvistomi TV offers the latest news in Georgian. New Yorkers and visitors can easily download their app for smart TVs or smartphones from Google Play.
This Georgian American television venture is a natural extension of Tvistomi Radio, which broadcasts in the Georgian language.
Professor Nikolai Chkheidze, a businessman and president of the Georgian community, invites all Georgian-speaking residents and guests in New York to join the project. It’s a fantastic opportunity to receive independent news in your native language and engage with the Georgian community in the United States.
