Donald Trump honored in 1986 for reopening Wollman Rink in Central Park

Donald Trump – 6 years VS few months – Two ice skating rinks in Central Park are now removing the Trump name, even though the Trump Organization still runs both rinks. The Parks Department didn’t give a reason why. But in 1986 — 33 years ago — Donald Trump was lauded by New York City for revitalizing Wollman Rink and honored by Mayor Ed Koch.
