Bronx, New York – On August 2, 2020 at approximately 4:10 p.m., Troopers from SP Bronx arrested Jesus F. Gallagher, age 19, of Long Island, New York, for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 3rd Degree – a class D felony.
The Troopers were patrolling the Throggs Neck Bridge and conducted a traffic stop on a gray 2020 Volkswagen, operated by Gallagher, because the vehicle was reported stolen.
During the incident, Gallagher initially stopped, but then attempted to escape, continuing along the Cross Bronx Expressway while Troopers followed with lights and sirens activated….
