“Mayor Needs to Veto Council Bill to make Police Personally Liable in Lawsuits involving police actions. This bill will result in thousands more police officers finding jobs in other places. Police officers must follow orders and make instant life and death decisions in carrying out their duties to protect us. To make them personally liable to lawsuits, putting their homes at risk and requiring them to bear the costs of defending lawsuits is another anti police action which undemines the police and enboldens criminals. Enough is enough! Voters should take note of what candidates are for or against this new political attack on our police.”
