New York. Curtis Sliwa endorsed Republican Councilman Ari Kagan for re-election

On June 15, 2023, Curtis Sliwa, an American activist,Sliwa was the Republican nominee for the 2021 New York City mayoral election,  radio talk show host, and founder of the Guardian Angels, a nonprofit organization for unarmed crime prevention, endorsed Ari Kagan for re-election to the New York City Council in the 47th district. Ari Kagan, a member of the New York City Council since 2022, represents Bensonhurst, Coney Island, Gravesend, and Sea Gate.
He assumed office on January 1, 2022, and is seeking re-election. It’s important to note that the primary election for this position is scheduled for June 27, 2023.
